History Global was formed in 2000 as a successor to Anivan Portfolio. Anivan had started purchasing residential single family loans from the RTC, FDIC and Banks in the late 1980’s during the banking crisis. Global continued the purchasing of distressed residential loans, added the purchase of distressed commercial loans to the platform and started providing alternative lending to commercial real estate investors and owner users.
